Post-Season Development Programme: Technical & Positional understanding (4 Sessions) 26th June, 3rd 10th and 24th of July

Our focused 4-session Technical Positional Training programme — designed to sharpen individual ability, elevate decision-making, and prepare players to return stronger, smarter, and more confident.

Why Post-Season Training Matters
The off-season is where real development happens. With reduced pressure from competition, players can refine the details that make the difference — first touch, positional awareness, speed of play, and execution under pressure.

What We Deliver
Each session is built around position-specific technical development, ensuring every player works on the skills that matter most to their role on the pitch:

Defenders: Body positioning, passing under pressure, 1v1 dominance
Midfielders: Scanning, receiving on the half-turn, tempo control
Forwards: Movement patterns, finishing variety, creating space

High-repetition technical work tailored to the position
Game-realistic scenarios to reinforce decision-making
Small-sided positional games to transfer skills into match play
Individual feedback to accelerate improvement

No Parking Allowed at the Academy, please enter via the 3g gate on Worsley Bridge Road. Shin pads are mandatory. please bring drinks and any medical needs.

Players will take part in a variety of match-based sessions, competing in small-sided games across different teams, formats, and conditions. Expect more touches on the ball, constant involvement, and fast decision-making, with plenty of opportunities to be creative and express yourself in real game situations. Across the 4-week programme, players will train with qualified coaches, make new friends, and take their first steps into our Girls Player Development Pathway.

Please note there is NO session on the 17th of July.
